Who we are
The Association is open to everyone who lives on the estate, and we warmly encourage anyone who’d like to get involved. We’re a friendly, welcoming community and always happy to meet new neighbours.
The best way to get involved is to come along to one of our events, send us an email, or have a chat with one of the committee members who live on the estate. We’re always open to new ideas and fresh perspectives.
The ARA committee is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels valued, respected, and at home.
Our Goals
To organise at least four community events a year, with a range of activities over the year appealing to residents of all ages
To keep residents informed about local issues via the newsletter and Porcupine Post
To work to conserve and enhance the character of the local area
To involve local residents in all aspects of our work and represent their interests to the local council and other relevant bodies
To work with partners to enhance the surrounding neighbourhood and improve the well-being of people in Penge (especially those who may be experiencing hardship or ill health) where practicable.
